NATO just started WW3.

Defund NATO.

 @PaellaJonnyDemocratfrom Maine commented…3mos3MO

Oh I’m sorry, did NATO roll tanks into Ukraine? Or was that Russia?

  @Patriot-#1776Constitution from Washington disagreed…3mos3MO

You just committed the Straw Man Fallacy – you debunked a position he never claimed to have, namely that Russia never rolled tanks into Ukraine. But did he ever claim that? No. You're putting words into his mouths because you can't debunk his actual position, and to be frank you should be a little embarrassed about it.

  @9CJ6CB6 from Virginia disagreed…3mos3MO

No their statement refers to the thought that NATO was starting WW3, which is false, alongside the fact that one of the two is creating the fighting forces, and it’s not NATO.

  @Patriot-#1776Constitution from Washington disagreed…3mos3MO

And is that claiming that Russia never rolled the tanks into Ukraine? No, he never claimed that. Whatever your thoughts about the claim he made, can you, for Heaven's sake, if you want to engage in conversation about this, debate the claims HE ACTUALLY MADE rather than ones HE DIDN'T? Plus, (English lesson here!) when the sex of a person is unknown, you refer to him with he/him/his, because they/them/their means a group of people, not just one. They changed the English language to stop offending sissies who are hurt emotionally by human communication – but if you want to be correct, persons of unknown sex are always assumed to be male, and entities such as ships, countries, etc, are referred to as "her". Don't contribute to the degradation of our Great Language.

Why? It’s Ukrainian jets attacking the things attacking Ukraine. Seems legit no?

 @PuzzledPretzelsMountain from Ohio commented…3mos3MO

I stand with Putin!!!

That is a red line. Ukraine has not respected Russian civilians and civilian areas.

  @Patriot-#1776Constitution from Washington agreed…3mos3MO

While I wouldn't stay I "stand with Putin" – I am a zealous defender of peace and neutrality in all foreign wars – you do make a good point. Both nations are bad, both are dictatorships, so we shouldn't fund or support either.

  @9CJ6CB6 from Virginia disagreed…3mos3MO

One is definitely better than the other, Ukraine has worked to gain independence and was promised it under international law. Russia refused, and lashed out on Ukraine after their country surrendered their nuclear weapons to Russia in exchange for peace, all because they blame the rest of the world for trying to “encroach on Russian sovereignty”, when they are doing the exact same thing whenever left alone.

  @Patriot-#1776Constitution from Washington disagreed…3mos3MO

The Ukrainian provinces Putin is currently occupying want to be part of Russia

  @9CJ6CB6 from Virginia disagreed…3mos3MO

Ah yes, the sham referendums of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” (Captured), the “Luhansk People’s Republic” (Also captured), the Kherson Oblast, and the Zaporizhzhia Oblast (Both partially under Russian administrative control). The referendums were done with extremely bad methodology, with proven reports of Russian coercion on citizens, limited voting power for certain groups inside of these regions, a lack of identification or any reasonable restrictions for eligible voters, intentionally created pro-Russian parades in occupied regions, and so much more.…  Read more

Standing with a different country's dictatorship because you don't like what ours does is not the way.

 @TreasurySkylarLibertarianfrom Arizona commented…3mos3MO

They will have to assume nuclear weapons are on the F-16s every time they launch towards Russia. This is more tense than the Cold War.

 @AmazedC4mpaignSocialist from South Carolina commented…3mos3MO

The US establishment oligarchy is perpetuating this conflict.

They know that it's the only chance they have at staying in power.

  @Patriot-#1776Constitution from Washington commented…3mos3MO

Good for you for recognizing that! Now change your party affiliation, because you're going to get the exact same thing under the Socialist Party!

 @ParrotEddieConstitution from New Jersey commented…3mos3MO

There will be a high likelihood of the Pilots being from Nato itself. Seeing as Ukrainian Pilots would need at least two years of training to pilot F-16’s

 @CraneJonnyLibertarianfrom Maine commented…3mos3MO

I doubt if Ukraine has airfields for them, will the F16s take off from Nato soil?

 @ParrotEddieConstitution from New Jersey commented…3mos3MO

Good question, most likely would be Poland if I had to guess

 @DejectedD1plom4tGreen from Georgia commented…3mos3MO

As a Pole, Polish people have no intention to attack Russia. Wish I could say the same about “our” government and “peacekeeping” NATO. They obviously have profit to make in a potential WW3

 @ParrotEddieConstitution from New Jersey commented…3mos3MO

With Ukraine as a clear example it would make no sense for polish people to want to fight Russia. I’ve heard your media has been pushing pro war narratives on TV have you noticed that?

 @Activi5tStanGreen from Massachusetts commented…3mos3MO

Reminder:

Putin warned that if US made F-16 jets strike Russia Ukraine may no longer be the only target.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…3mos3MO

Should the international community prioritize the risks of escalation over Ukraine's right to self-defense using F-16 fighter jets?
